Some new layouts

The March Technique Challenge at DHD was to "paint" on our layouts. After much experimentation I arrived at something I could live with. The basic layout was shamelessly lifted from another scrapper named Christy, whose original layout was of Sugarland. As you can see, mine has Carolyn Dawn Johnson. Last October, just before I broke my toe, I had the pleasure of introducing Lindsay to both CDJ and Chad Brownlee in concert at the Arden Theatre. What a little gem that place is!

In August, 2006 we were part of a very special event, the reunion of about a dozen of the brats from St Margarets, New Brunswick, circa 1974. It was interesting to see how many of us ended up in western Canada. and how it felt like we'd seen each other only last week when it had actually been more than 30 years for most of us.  One of the "younger" guys, Marty Martell, flew in a crate of live lobsters from Nova Scotia for our feasting pleasure. Adam had never tasted it before and after one bite he was hooked. He also enjoys his Moosehead ale!
