After the HTML glitch, in order to keep the project going correctly, Karla was going to scraplift SEVEN people's layouts so no one would be left out. (For the people who weren't able to complete a layout from the correct gallery within the new time frame, since everybody thought they were scraplifting Penguinmomma...) I offered to do one or two for her and this is what I produced. I love it. The barn is one that I have several photos of; it's only about 8 km from our house and it looks amazing in the winter too. I took this photo on November 3, 2010 while I was recovering from my fracture.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments, Kat. I take them as high praise. The best part of this challenge is that I really am getting the hang of digital scrapping and am getting a bit more confident to try things I never thought I'd be able to do.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Karla sent me an email this morning about my prize. I worked a 13 hour day on Saturday and a 13 hour night last night without a good sleep before so I wasn't really focused on what I was reading. I assumed it was a group email and I sent it to the recycling bin. Later, when I was looking at the gallery, I blinked about 50 times then went dumpster-diving. I'm so thrilled! I have no idea what I can do with my prize, but I'm so looking forward to finding out.
