I snapped this photo somewhere in Jasper National Park on September 29, 2009. We were on our way back from Kamloops and I'd been taking pictures through the windshield all day. The image so reminded me of Lightfoot's Canadian Railroad Trilogy and struck me as SO Canadian. The other day I finally dragged all my photos off my desktop computer and put them on a memory stick; looking through them this layout just burst into my head. The grassy area in the foreground was perfect for a journaling backdrop; all I had to do to make it so was to decrease the opacity. I'm really happy with the outcome!
